Watchers, waiting for the sun! It was a long wait …
It was a grey day but mild. Snow and ice due next week apparently.
This tree won’t mind, though. It seems to thrive whatever the weather.

Midday inside visitor
And lonely collared dove who has lost his mate. He spent virtually the whole day just sitting on the fence.
It was also a day for finding unexpected pretties
And for almost finishing another blanket

But no chance to spend much time outside except to check on the newly flowering Michaelmas Daisies

Splashes of colour compensate for lack of sun.
And the honey perfume from the buddleia seems even more intense
