From start to finish it was a beautiful day
Our beautiful blackbird sang to his heart’s content.
No time for crochet except for a couple of daily squares
The day ended with a walk into the sunset.

From su up until about 10am all was well

I had hoped to see more of the sun today – but this was the best we could do.
Even these little bits of blue disappeared. Rain continued but the wind dropped.
Today should have been the rescheduled visit of the gas engineer! It was another no show. I’ve made a complaint on Twitter …

A not so beautiful early start – that rapidly went downhill.
High winds and heavy rain are forecast for later – they arrived earlier!
However, these little Welsh poppies gave a splash of sun on the patio.
