Keeping watch!
It was early so very quiet. The best time of the day.
Record breaking temperatures were correctly forecast.
Time to pick the Squash
And a welcome splash of pink.
All my centres are done! Now to wait for a cooler day for the next stage!

I was going to make a Lemon Drizzle cake – but …
A note to the supplier accompanied by a photograph and a refund was posted to my account.
It was the warmest day of the year so far.
Too hot for crochet
So no progress on this.
And it was a lovely evening.

Up earlier than usual
The peace of early morning is much appreciated.
But before long the day began in earnest.
We went for a coffee – an iced coffee
It was lovely to sit in the sun.
The roads were quiet.
It’s hard to believe that there is a town of over 40,000 inhabitants hidden in this view.
Not ours – but the perfect car for today’s sun!
