A very wet start! Heavy rain that had passed by mid morning.
Food delivery arrived promptly and complete.
And a splash of colour helps to dispel the blues!

Very mild but grey for most of the day.
Splashes of colour compensate for lack of sun.
And the honey perfume from the buddleia seems even more intense

A slow start, but lots to do today.
Gathered some bits and pieces for delivery tomorrow and also for the post.
The leaves are beginning to‘turn’. Autumn is definitely here.
There are still summer secrets to be found, though, if you look really hard.

It wasn’t a day of photographs, but it was a good day. Here’s a list of what happened.
- The day began with a drive to the doctors’ for our ‘flu jab
- Next we walked to town
- Unexpectedly met our son and grandson – walking the dog – joined them for an outside coffee at Starbucks
- Went home for a late lunch
- Received an invitation from a neighbour to join them for a bbq
- Had a really enjoyable evening chatting with our very good friends.
It was almost a ‘before covid’ day.
Wonderful.
