Very mild but grey for most of the day.

Splashes of colour compensate for lack of sun.

And the honey perfume from the buddleia seems even more intense


A borrowed view – it will be a while before I see it again.

Summer has returned.

We are feeding another neighbours’ cat this week. He was waiting for us.

Fortunately we aren’t babysitting the family dog at the same time. We did, however, celebrate a teenage birthday. I think he wanted cake!

At last – a proper golden rose.
