What a frustrating and stressful day!
It began with beautiful blue sky and very hard frost
But a ‘no-show’ heating engineer caused no end of problems. He’s coming on Saturday now – apparently! Presumably he’ll get overtime – we didn’t even get a phone call or apology.

Grey skies gave way to a flash of blue
A mild day. Hopefully it will be the same tomorrow when the gas man makes a return, and hopefully final, visit

Slowly the trees are losing their leaves.
