It was a dull start

But the sun came out later

Plenty of Pear blossom for Mothering Sunday.

If you have been following this blog for a while you will definitely have seen this view before. You probably have thought’Oh no, not that again’, but there is a reason. I photograph it daily when I’m at home. It’s a constant, and the changing seasons can be seen easily.
If you look closely you will see flowers on the laurel. This is actually not on our property but is now the same height as the Rowan which is still sans leaf. It’s still easy to see the blackbird and robin as they serenade at various times in the morning and evening, once the leaves are there we will have to guess their perch.

This view too is a marker. There used to be three trees within this view. No more.

This shrub rarely gets the sun but it’s worth a mention today.

More blue sky

I should be visiting grandson and family today but hubby’s back is still locking painfully so better he isn’t on his own.

Began a new blanket. It would have been pretty but the quality of the yarn was unexpectedly bad. The harm has now gone to someone who really has a use for it and knows its failings.

Sort- out continues.
Life continues here in a similar vein.

Bad back has sadly cancelled our weekend plans, but it’s for the best.

It was a gloriously warm day. So good to feel the warmth of the sun. Will temperatures tumble next week? Probably.
