June 1

The house was quiet when I woke at 06.30 so didn’t notice anything unusual. At 7am all electrical items whirred and sprang into action. We had had a power cut! I wonder for how long?

Canada geese fly over every day. I rarely catch them on camera!

It was a very cold morning but warmed up by mid morning. A power cut didn’t help.

Saw the grandchildren and took them swimming.

Photos of the pool aren’t allowed

Then we went for a walk

A lovely day.

June 30

June! It came … and in hours it will be gone!

Another tedious month has passed in lockdown. Not that life has been very different from ‘normal’ life! We are pretty boring people.

I thought I’d better try my sunhat for size. Does it still fit? You never know – I might need it tomorrow 🤔

The last daily square of the month is complete – that’s half a year done and dusted!

I might have put some yarns together in readiness for a new project.

And .. there was a promising end to the day.
