June 13

Today’s a day for catching up. It’s hot and humid.

The world was quiet while people watched the football.

However, I just quietly crochet the temperatures for the beginning of June.

Thank you for continuing to read these very boring posts.

Frankly I’m amazed that I have had the inspiration to continue as every day is the same! It’s all down to you.

I’m not sure what is more exciting about this picture – a) that the blue geraniums are beginning to flower or b) that the dreaded bindweed has even found its way here.

Meanwhile the roses continue to bloom and offer a myriad of different complex centres.

There isn’t much to say about today.

But life goes on in this current lockdown with the probable prospect of it being extended.

Look closely. Can you see the blackbird? He continues to sing unaware that life as we knew it will never be the same.

The roses will continue to bloom but former freedom has gone for ever I’m sure.

No blue this morning, but it was bright and not gloomy.

The blackbird was singing as usual

..and there was an air of anticipation!

Even the roses seemed to expect something.

This was the view at the start. Promising?

Don’t get too excited!

This was the sky at the optimum moment!
