And an Iris blooms in an unexpected colour!

Petals fall like confetti – forecast rain will bring more to earth.

And another square heads towards the bag for the lockdown blanket!

The clouds soon evaporated and the temperature rose.

The standard rose is in good form. Most of these blooms will be gone if the weather turns and tomorrow brings storms tomorrow.

The honeysuckle is beginning to flower, it’s almost covering the lilac. Have to be honest – I prefer the honeysuckle!

Difficult to spot, but the blackbird sang from the Rowan this morning.

What fun! Nothing to do with me, but an adornment in Devizes in Wiltshire.

Here the temperature rose to the highest of the year so far.

Tonight the blackbird serenades in spite of the news that lockdown will be extended!

Frankly I’m amazed that I have had the inspiration to continue as every day is the same! It’s all down to you.

I’m not sure what is more exciting about this picture – a) that the blue geraniums are beginning to flower or b) that the dreaded bindweed has even found its way here.

Meanwhile the roses continue to bloom and offer a myriad of different complex centres.
