I’m willing to bet that this is one of the most boring blogs on the internet.

It isn’t intentional, but really encapsulates what life is like for the spouse of a medically vulnerable partner during the times of Covid.

There are days when I realise in mid-afternoon that I haven’t yet had time to even splash water on my face.

But there are compensations – and garden colour is one of them.

And this week I’ve even managed a 20 minute walk for the last 5 days.

I hope you will keep reading – the time may come when I do something interesting, and if you give up now you will miss it!

The sun was a little shy!

It looked like rain so our ‘charge’ opted to stay inside

In spite of covid the weeds continue to grow! Weeding is a tedious pastime!

Cheese and home grown tomatoes with pesto make a good sandwich lunch!

Summer has returned.

We are feeding another neighbours’ cat this week. He was waiting for us.

Fortunately we aren’t babysitting the family dog at the same time. We did, however, celebrate a teenage birthday. I think he wanted cake!

At last – a proper golden rose.
