It promised to be a ‘nice’ day, and it didn’t disappoint.
It was cold – obviously
But spring is on the way!
Off to meet friends
Our destination was in the woods on the horizon and it was a really great time!

A very early wake up this morning – long before it was light. Too dark to really start the day so I began to catch up on the February Temperature Blanket.
Circumstances meant that these daily photos were taken late in the day.
The moon had risen on a bitingly cold evening.

Can you see the plane?
It’s just taken off from near where we are heading today.
As you know, we don’t venture far so it will be a treat to view a ‘different’ sky
It really was that blue although only 5 miles away.
