Bright rays through the clouds made a welcome change
Not much of a crop yet … but it’s quite early in the season yet.
New spots of colour begin to emerge
And a few ‘ends’ disappear from a current work in progress.
This is looking very sorry for itself. I’m hoping to revive it.
It was a dismal start but the sun came out later, lovely to feel the warmth.
There are parts of the garden that are rarely noticed.
And some that are a total mystery! From where did this come? No idea, but it’s welcome to stay.
Plotting something else. I always convert to monochrome to help decide placement. This was not the last!
The longest day! Grey and cold!! I even considered turning on the central heating….
It rained too – but dad brought this little fledgling to feed. I watch their antics through this window on most days.
Another square completed for the temperature blanket, and something along the same lines begun as shown below.

Most of the birds sheltered from the heavy rain.
Not, however, the crows.
The honeysuckle shows its beauty
