A beautiful sunrise heralded a blue sky day.
It was so pleasant we walked into town – about 3 miles there and back. It was fairly deserted. Many shops closing too.
Home just in time for a planned delivery.
Special pies, hubby’s favourites from childhood. They took some tracking down.
And I finished a blanket. It’s for sale – let me know if you are interested.

Another day wasted waiting for the plumber. Yes! On a Sunday. We were even assured that he would still arrive an hour ago.
The sun rose on a sunny day. It would have been good to be able to take advantage of it.
Instead – I made progress on this.
Still no plumber – so our mood matched the sky. Apparently we are on the ‘priority list’! Bad luck if you aren’t on that! How long would you have to wait?
It rained and rained but I went for a walk anyway. Got soaked and had to change whe. I got back.
Pleasant visit from son and granddaughter and spent the evening with my crochet.
