Today, it seems, was mostly about the birds!

Midday inside visitor
And lonely collared dove who has lost his mate. He spent virtually the whole day just sitting on the fence.
It was also a day for finding unexpected pretties
And for almost finishing another blanket
Eagle-eye was up early. So was I.
We had a journey to celebrate a 5th birthday.
Very important.
Presents were many and varied.
There was also nearby entertainment.
Who could resist a ride?
(Actually, I could!)
And there was something for the older visitors too.
There was also cake!
