The early morning sun – not quite as early as I would have liked! Guess who slept in!
Blue skies were the order of the day.
Today we were serenaded by a song thrush. That was unusual. It’s normally a blackbird that predominates.
The summer foliage softens the hard edges of the path.

June! It came … and in hours it will be gone!
Another tedious month has passed in lockdown. Not that life has been very different from ‘normal’ life! We are pretty boring people.
I thought I’d better try my sunhat for size. Does it still fit? You never know – I might need it tomorrow 🤔
The last daily square of the month is complete – that’s half a year done and dusted!
I might have put some yarns together in readiness for a new project.
And .. there was a promising end to the day.

Today is a neighbour’s birthday. We wished her a happy day earlier, but there will be no party.
It was a dry day, warm but no sun
There’s always a lot to do in the garden!
Then at 5pm – it rained!
